1- The Directorate General of Political and Refugees Affairs 

• The legislative decree No 42 was issued on 31 March, 1959; it stipulated the establishment of a “department within the Lebanese Ministry of Interior to manage Palestinian affairs”. Its provisions were structured by Decree No 927, issued at the same date to determine the duties in managing Palestinian affairs at the Ministry of Interior.

• At a subsequent development, the Lebanese Council of Ministers issued Decree No 4082 structuring the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, during its session dated 4/10/2000; the previous make-up of the Directorate of Palestinian Refugees affairs was retracted and the Directorate became affiliated to the Directorate of Political and Refugees Affairs; the term “Palestinian”, indicating their characteristic, was retrieved. The duties were left unchanged, except for the item related to the reception of application to travel outside Lebanon and the transfer of the refugee’s residence address from one camp to another, subject to security considerations. Articles 24, 25, 26, and 27 were broadened and detailed listing the duties of supervising the Political moves of the Palestinian refugees and monitoring all security-related actions. 

• Article (59) of the Labor Law was amended on 17 August 2010.

3- The Lebanese Social Security Code 

• Article (9) of the Social Security Law was amended on 17 August 2010.
